MEET OUR FOUNDER
I’m Norma Cortés, founder of Skin & Sky, and I’d love to share a little of the story behind the brand.
From a very young age, I discovered my passion for skincare. I loved reading, studying, and learning more about natural ingredients and their benefits. Years later, while living in the United States, I decided to take that passion further and officially become a licensed cosmetologist.
I began by giving facials to my friends, and little by little, my clientele grew until something I loved so much became my profession. And the beautiful thing is, I never stopped being passionate about it.
Throughout those years, I had the opportunity to work with renowned skincare brands and to gain firsthand experience with a wide range of skin types, needs, and conditions. That experience led me to ask myself what I truly wanted to offer the skin: thoughtfully developed formulas, with natural ingredients selected for their benefits and results that could be seen and felt.
That is when Skin & Sky began to take shape.
I wanted to create a line that was 100% natural, while also being effective. A line that brought together knowledge and experience with a more conscious approach to beauty, because I believe that consciously choosing what we apply to our skin is also a way of caring for ourselves.
Each product was born from a need I identified throughout the years and from my desire to find the balance between nature, efficacy, and consciousness.
The first was Rose & Hyaluronic Radiant Mist. I originally developed it for my own use and began incorporating it into my facials. My clients started asking me what I was using on my skin, and little by little, I decided to share it with them. That was the beginning of Skin & Sky.
Today, each of our formulas is created with carefully selected ingredients, crafted in small batches and through cold-pressing processes. Each blend is designed to work in synergy, enhancing the benefits of its ingredients.
Because for us, beauty goes beyond the skin.
